Take care on all dirt roads. Most hire car insurance does not cover the underside of the car. Pay particular care on the following roads (I have no news about the north coast track, Konditsia Valley or Platania but will post when I do).

Meladia Valley track From Eresos, OK in normal car WITH CARE as far as Meladia Chapel. From Sigri, OK as far as Old Sanatorium WITH CARE, but 4×4 required to get through to Meladia Valley.

Mt Ordimnos track 4×4 recommended, track in poor condition in places.

A real change today with an obvious departure of passerines in the west and a strong northerly wind making birding very difficult and what few birds were present were keeping very low!
