Submitting your bird records from Lesvos

I collect as many records as I can each year to produce the annual reports.

Please send submit your records as soon as you can, but no later than 5 January of the follow year of your sightings (e.g. by 5 January 2015 to be included in Lesvos Birds 2014)

You can submit records in several ways.

LESVOS BIRDING LOGBOOKS

logbookI run two logbooks in Skala Kallonis (Hotel Pasiphae and Dionysos taverna) for you share your bird news when on the island, and for you to find out what others have seen. I myself add as much as I can from what others have passed on to me in each of these logs each date.

Include date, location, species name(s), number of birds and any additional information (which may help others locate the bird, e.g. flyover (direction), feeding with other species, etc).

Please include your FULL NAME and your EMAIL address (at least once) so I can contact you if I have any queries and can credit your in the annual report for the more interesting records.

Other logs
There are other logs at other hotels but I don’t get to see those so I don’t know what is in them! If you see anything of note you think is known about, then please share it in the main logs or by informing me direct (see below). The records from these other logs do not make it in to the annual reports.

Please send me your records as soon as you can, but no later than 5 January of the follow year of your sightings (e.g. by 5 January 2015 to be included in Lesvos Birds 2014)
